The food industry has warned the environment secretary, Michael Gove, of a ‘potential crisis’ if it cannot concentrate on Brexit plans.

A consultation on the future of allergen labelling has been launched by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and Food Standards Scotland (FSS).
